SUMMARY : I have thirty years of experience in the medical field, having graduated on April 4, 1979 in the top 1% of my class. I feel comfortable practicing Psychiatry and Medicine, but my areas of greatest expertise are Addiction Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry and the Business side of medicine. Since 1988 in addition to starting my own practice The Center for Medicine and Psychiatry, I was an instrumental co-founder of the Community Rehabilitation Center, North West Behavioral Health Services, Quality Life Center of Jacksonville all thriving agencies and Keepsafe Center. The latter, was recently closed due to events beyond my control. I was also the co-founder of St Clair Medical Center that was also closed due to problems finding adequate staff. In 2005 I started an outpatient detox practice in Las Vegas Nevada, that is currently thriving by focusing on the treatment of performers, celebrities and the like. My newest (I have been working on it for a few years) treatment modality is the “Life re-alignment program”, a no-nonsense approach to helping my patients, achieve their dreams by a technique that utilizes “coaching”, progressive relaxation, planning and learning how to delay gratification. In this program I utilize a mixture of my academic training, life experiences and the fortune of having lived my life straddling several cultures and continents. Eastern and Western, Islam, Catholicism and Confucianism, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the USA. I also changed the name of my company to Center for Medicine and Wellness, as I believe that medicine should be the preservation of wellness thru prevention, nutrition exercise and a balance of mind/body and spirit as opposed to just waiting for illness to occur before treating it. My hobby is Magic and I love to believe that I can put the magic back in the lives of my patients,
