About us
Northwest Behavioral Health Services is a private, not-for-profit corporation, chartered in April 1992. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for children, adults and their families who are experiencing mental health problems, social maladjustment, and other at-risk behaviors. Northwest Behavioral Health Services is committed to providing a high quality of care and cost effective services to enable individuals to live productive and meaningful lives in the community, and to effectively secure the needed resources to achieve life long goals. The agency is licensed by the State Department of Children and Families for mental health and substance abuse services and is internationally accredited by the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF). The agency programs are accessible and financial problems need not be a barrier to obtaining services. Each year Northwest Behavioral Health provides services to hundreds of children, adults, and their families in need of behavioral health care. These services are provided in the homes, schools, and other natural environments of the participants.
